Hospital and healthcare construction contractors
Hospital buildings are among the most demanding civil projects: heavier structural loads, dense services, strict hygiene finishes and fire and safety compliance. Sharda Engineers and Contractors has executed hospital building projects in Ahmedabad and applies the same planning discipline we use on pharmaceutical facilities.
What we build
- Multi-speciality and general hospitals — new RCC buildings from foundation to finishing
- Nursing homes and maternity homes — G+2 to G+4 buildings on urban plots
- Clinics, polyclinics and diagnostic centres — including radiology rooms with structural provisions for shielding
- Hospital extensions — additional floors or wings while the facility keeps running
- Renovation and upgrades — OT complexes, ICU wards, OPD areas
How we approach a hospital project
- Planning with your consultants. Structural design is coordinated with the hospital planner, MEP consultant and fire consultant before we start — so shafts, cut-outs and ducts are cast, not chiselled later.
- Structure for real loads. Imaging equipment, OT slabs, water tanks and plant rooms are designed for their actual loads, with vibration and deflection considered.
- Services-ready construction. Sleeves, conduits, medical gas routes and drainage are built in at the RCC stage.
- Healthcare finishes. Seamless vinyl or epoxy flooring, coved skirting, antibacterial paints, hermetic doors for OTs, and non-porous wall finishes in wet areas.
- Handover documentation. As-built drawings and completion records needed for BU permission and fire NOC.

FAQ
Hospital Buildings — FAQs
Have you built hospitals before?
Yes. Hospital projects are one of our core categories alongside pharmaceutical facilities, bungalows and residential buildings. Ask us for project references during your site visit.
Can you construct an extension while the hospital is running?
Yes. We plan phased construction with dust and noise control, separate access for material and labour, and work sequences agreed with hospital management.
Do you handle fire NOC and building permission requirements?
We construct to the approved drawings and the fire-safety provisions your consultant specifies, and our drawing department can prepare building permission drawings. Statutory approvals are coordinated with your architect and liaison consultant.
